Cookies

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser when you link to a website. When we refer to cookies (“cookies”) in this policy, other similar technologies and tools that retrieve and store information in your browser are also covered, and in some cases such information is passed on to third parties, in a manner similar to cookies. Examples are pixels, local storage, session storage and fingerprinting.

The sites will “remember” and “recognize” you. This can be done by placing cookies in three different ways:

– The session ends, ie until you close the window in your browser.
– Time-limited, ie the cookie has a predetermined lifespan. The time may vary between different cookies.
– Until further notice, ie the information remains until you choose to delete it. This applies to local storage.

You can always go into your browser and delete already placed cookies yourself.

What do we use cookies for?

We use cookies to be able to save things in the shopping cart, present more relevant content to you, save language choices and stay logged in between page breaks. We also use cookies to be able to analyze visitor statistics and administer the website. We use cookies from third parties for targeted marketing and detailed visitor statistics.

How to avoid cookies!

Your browser can be set to automatically deny cookies and you can deny the availability of cookies yourself. You can clear old cookies by deleting them from your hard drive or letting your browser clear old cookies. Please note that you can not use all the functions of the website if you do not have cookies activated.

How Can You Control The Use Of Cookies?

You will be asked when you visit the website whether you accept cookies or not. If you would like to restrict, block or delete cookies from your browser, you can use your browser settings to do so. Go to the settings of your browser on your computer or device to make these settings. Every browser is different, so use the help section of the browser you use to see how you can change your cookie choices. For example, you can choose to block all cookies, only accept first-party cookies, or delete cookies when you close your browser.

You can choose to completely disable Google Analytics cookies (including on other websites) by opting out of Google Analytics, using their Add-on located at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
